Flash player and new Browsers

June 1, 2008

Mike Chambers, a web evangelist for Adobe notes a bug in the next version of Firefox.  While the problem was resolved, it got me thinking about how important Flash technology is to companies building web browsing applications.  It seems as soon as Mozilla realized the bug was there, they immediately took care of it.  Its fascinating how prominent the Flash player is on web browsers, I don’t think people realize how often they might view Flash content on the Internet.  Firefox was smart in dealing with the issue before the official release of Firefox 3.
